I walk into my classroom to see this...
Um...way to make a girl feel special.
The day only gets better. The class showered me with cards and homemade gifts.
My sweet husband brought me a coffee, who might I add made me a personalized music card, and a delicious breakfast.
The class had library so as I was going to pick them up, I saw my first graders each holding one rose. Behind them was my team teacher. She had this all planned for weeks. I had NO idea. For first graders not to say anything is pretty impressive! I feel so blessed to work with such a wonderful person. The funny thing is, I was very nervous to go part time with someone I didn't know. Throughout this school year we have become very good friends. Crazy how some things work out.
Later that evening we did a very yummy dinner and cake from my new favorite place.
We had mini bunt cakes, I think they were called bundtinis. Super cute and super yummy.
I consumed a ton of sugar. It was birthday I figured it was okay.
(my 4:30 a.m. run was very tough this morning!)
It was a great way to celebrate.
But do you want to know what is better then all of this?
You do?
Um....Disneyland in 7 days!!!!!!!
Happy birthday, sweet one.
