So, before we went to Phoenix, Max had his open house at his preschool.
Max was excited to go.
I saw where he sat and his cubby.
I saw where he learned.
I saw where he played.
(sorry all cell phone pics)
I talked with his teacher. It was so weird being on the other side of the parent-teacher conversation. Being a teacher I interact with parents daily (okay not daily since I only work a couple of days). I listened very intently to what she had to say about my son. About how he was doing, how he was with the other kids, how he liked to play, how he sat in circle. I really wanted to know. Which makes me think that these parents that I converse with do really care about what I am saying. I think that being a mother has made me a much better teacher.
As Philip and I were driving away we talked about how this is our life now; school functions, school projects, conferences, etc. And we love it!
