A little bit of everything

I am back to work. Which I really don't feel like I am at all. 2 days a week is the way to roll. I am loving my time with friends at work but more importantly I am loving being a momma to my sweet boy.

Speaking of my sweet boy, he is super into rocket ships lately. If I had a nickel for every time I have counted 5,4,3,2,1 blast off, I am pretty sure I would be a very rich woman.

The play room has been a hit. I am not sure why we didn't do this months ago. I am still looking for a small wooden table and chairs to put in an empty corner of the room. I am done hanging my frames with simple sweet sayings.

Some colorful frames + card stock + cute sayings = wall decor for play room!
Yep, that is Max trying to fit into his Little Tikes house. He just doesn't get that he is too big.

Max is enjoying preschool. Hallelujah!!!!  Last week he told me, I no like preschool. I no like Ms. Lizabeth. I stay with Momma. Today it was a different story, Momma, I go to preschool. I have a good day at preschool! So that is truly wonderful. I should mention that I have been working my butt off with this transition. I have a blog post about how I eased the transition for Max. That is soon to come.

We celebrated Philip's birthday last weekend. We had a great family day. We decided at the last minute to go to the zoo and ride the train.
Before the train we played at the spray park.
Poor baby had no idea what was about to happen.

Yep, I was laughing, sorry buddy :)

I am ready for Max's 2nd birthday. Physically, not emotionally. Invites have been sent and RSVP's are being made. I can't wait to decorate my house. I am planning on going all out. But you only turn 2 once. Go big or go home, right?!?!?

I am yearning for Fall. I want chilly weather. I want apple cider. I want trips to the pumpkin patch. I want soft sweaters and cute boots. I want to see burnt orange and deep red fill my trees. I want to cozy up on the couch with my family while we discuss and anticipate the holiday season. Who is with me???
