How sweet this age is. He is hugging and kissing on me a ton. He will randomly come up to me and ask, whatcha doin momma?
He is also using the potty a lot more. We seemed to have conquered the fear of poop. So that's good.
He only has his meena (pacifier) when he is in his crib. He struggled a little with that today. He asked, meena are you? I told him it is in his crib and he told me, no no. This is one HUGE step to saying bye to the paci!
He speaks in sentences a majority of the time. He knows his shapes and some colors. He can count one to ten. He is able to take off and put on his pants/shorts. Shirts are another issue. He will wash his hands and brush his teeth all by himself.
He is in the pretend stage. He likes to take boxes and turn them into boats or beds or really anything.
I took the glider out of his room today. I am slowly transitioning his room from nursery to toddler room. After bath we read two books, as I was getting ready to lay him down he asked me to rocking chair momma? I sweetly answered no and he said, okay I love you. Such a big boy. Slightly sad for me.
His second birthday is already in the planning stages.
I am super excited for this birthday theme; Come Celebrate Under the Ocean Blue, Maxwell is Turning Two!
I figured since he is obsessed with fish and sea creatures this would be perfect. This time around I am making all the decorations and gift bags. I am SOOOO excited to share this party with you guys.
Even after my mommy meltdown today he still loves me. He is still my sweet angel boy. And I am definitely a work in progress.
I can't believe he is 21 Months!
Oh, and he really likes ice cream. Can you tell?
