two things

First, I am going to be in a flash mob. You may be asking your self, what is a flash mob? Well let me enlighten you. A flash mob is a group that assembles suddenly and performs in an unusual fashion. So quit your laughing. This has never been a desire of mine, actually it has never even crossed my mind. A group of teachers at my school are doing it and we are doing it for the kids. Any parents that read this blog...DO NOT LET THEM KNOW :) It will be video taped so I promise I will post it as soon as we do it. It is not until the middle of May. We practiced today and it is going to be HILARIOUS!!!

Second, remember when I wrote about my high cholesterol? You know how I was so super shocked that healthy eating momma had high numbers?!??! 212 to be exact. Well I rechecked my cholesterol. Before I tell you the number, let me give you a few details to better explain my recent results.
I gave up cheese, milk, eggs, red meat, and copious amounts of sweets. However, every once in a while I did eat cheese. And by eat I mean a few bites. I never took a drink of milk. No Starbucks with milk for me. Just good ol' black coffee. I did eat sweets. I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some sweets. However, I ate one cookie instead of the whole bag. I also kicked up my cardio. Hello marathon training.
So are you just dying to know what my cholesterol is?? Oh, I should also mention that I ate an absurd amount of vegetables. I actually love them so this was not difficult.
Okay here are my results....
I lost a total of 8.5 pounds. I am under 120...woot!!!
My cholesterol is, drum roll please, 168!!!!!

That, my friends is in the normal range. I am a healthy mama. Watch out.

No, really I am super proud of myself. I sacrificed and it paid off.
I gave myself a goal of 6 months to get it down, but I met this goal in 4 months.

My good friend at work gave me a B.U.G. award (these are awards given at my school for being unusually good) because I was being responsible with my health. Thanks, it made my day :)
