My Masterpiece

I had a great 2010. There were ups and downs. Laughs and tears. Celebrations and trials. Smiles and frowns. Stresses and joys. But these are the things that made my year great. We have to have the bad in order to appreciate the good. We have to have the tears to make the laughs that much more sweet.

2011 is my blank canvas. I am excited to dip my paint brush in all the colors of life. I will hopefully dip it in the laughs more then the tears. I will hopefully dip it in the celebrations more then the trials. But as I know, I will be dipping my brush in the frowns and stresses. I will be dipping my brush in the mistakes. I will cry as I lift the brush. But I will do this knowing that when I dip my brush in the joys again it will be that much prettier. I will paint my picture for this next year. Some days it will be ugly and others it will be breath taking. It will be the most beautiful thing to me. It is my life. Although it may not be perfect, it will be my masterpiece.
