Our Independence Day celebration began on Saturday. We went to our church for a good message and awesome worship. We usually stay to see the fireworks but our poor pookie didn't quite make it.
On Sunday we had a BBQ with Max's Uncle Nathan. Uncle Nathan took some good family pictures of us.
And yes we are that family and I am proud to say it!
We also went to Barnes and Noble so Mommy could get a new book. Max had a ton of fun! He liked reading the books but he would so rather play with the trains.
I think Max's favorite part of 4th of July was playing with the flags. We did some sparklers with him earlier in the day and he could of cared less.
Philip and I watched the fireworks from our balcony. It was a nice way to end the day. Although, I have to admit I missed that boom in my chest from being so close to the fireworks...maybe next year!
