Yesterday was a good day! Max saw Santa...well not really. Let me explain. I sent Phil to the mall to see how long the line was to see Santa. I figured Phil could wait and then we would meet him there when he was close to the front of the line. At Coronado Mall the line was an hour and half long and Santa was going to take an hour break! Bad Idea!!!!
My mom was with me and she suggested that we try Cottonwood Mall again (the mall we were at yesterday). I agreed. Max was going to see Santa if it killed me :0) We arrived at the mall around 4:30 p.m. The line at Cottonwood was just as long as the day before. Max was doing great in his stroller. My mom waited in line and Phil and I walked Max around the mall. We joined my mother in line around 5:00 p.m. We met a wonderful couple who had a 10 month old boy named Xavier. Max and Xavier were smiling, laughing, and squealing at each other. Probably the cutest thing I have ever seen. Around 5:15, Max was getting hungry. Philip, being the best dad ever, took Max out of line to give him a bottle. Xavier was also hungry, so his dad did the same thing.
Here are the daddies feeding the babies! So super cute!

I called Philip back over to the line we were three people away! Mind you, it was now 6:00 p.m. I was so happy that Max didn't have a meltdown and either did I. Philip handed Max to me. I could tell he was getting tired, I tried my hardest to keep him awake.
I should have tried harder!!!

We were next in line and I was trying to wake him up so he would be able to see Santa. Max never did see Santa, but Santa did see Max.
So sweet!
As soon as I picked Max up off Santa's lap, Max woke up! Maybe next year he will stay awake, or maybe next year mommy and daddy will go sooner in December so we don't have to wait in a line for forever!
