summer is over

This is it. This is our last weekend before we head back to work. Although I am sad, we really had a wonderful summer. Phil, Max and I had some quality family time and really there is nothing more important than that.

This last week has been a little tough due to some crazy morning sickness or should I say, random all day sickness that comes and goes?!? I have managed to drag myself out of bed to be with my boys.

We have had a few play dates. We have eaten a lot. We managed a trip to the Botanical Gardens. We have been snuggling a lot. We even made a trip to the book store so Max could play and mommy could sit.

We have been watching the Olympics and Max has been so into it. He prefers the swimming events and yesterday when we went swimming he was pretending to be in the Olympics. It was super cute. I am sad I have no pictures or video of him pretending to be an Olympian. You never know, he just might be one day:)

So I think for these next 3 days I will make sure to sneak a few extra hugs, cuddles and kisses from both my boys. You know, to help get through next week. I work four days next week and since I am part time that seems like a lot of days :) Just kidding, four days won't be that bad. I get to spend it with some of my dear teacher friends and lunches out (if I am feeling better).
