This last week of training was tough.
It is the end of the school year which means I am super busy doing report cards, organizing and paper work as high as the sky.
I also wasn't feeling 100% this week. It could have been allergies or stress or both. I still managed to do all my runs but no cross training or yoga.
This morning I had a 4 mile run. I did it. It wasn't my best. It could have been the 2 year old needing help with the iPad, or the wasp trying to attack me, or searching for a Cars 2 toy car that somehow was thrown out of the moving stroller.
I love running with Max. Sometimes we talk. Sometimes when I stop to get a drink or I need a break from running up the hill he will say, no stopping mom! run faster! That is some motivation.
I only need to run 16 more miles this week.
5 miles then 4 miles and my long run is 7 miles... easy :)
This is my last official week of school. Thursday and Friday are my last days! Running will be much easier with out the stress of my job. Have I ever mentioned how much I love working part time as a teacher?? Because I really do :)
I certainly hope I can fit in a couple yoga/pilates classes in this week. I am telling you, it is a wonderful addition to running. It stretches me out, it is strength training, and I just feel refreshed afterwards.
I run to music only when I run alone. These songs keep me going:
M83 Intro
Neon Indian Polish Girl
Gold Panda You
Fun. We are Young
Frank Ocean Swim Good
Happy Running :)
