Vacation Part 1

We decided to drive to Anaheim. Flying would have been over a thousand dollars...no thank you.
We managed to survive the drive. I have the hardest time in the car.
We broke the trip up and stopped in Phoenix. It was a brilliant idea because we were able to see family.

The weather of course was beautiful. I told Phil that if Phoenix was ALWAYS that nice I would move there. The boys had a ton of fun playing in the splash area at Westgate.
All that play makes for a very sleepy boy.
He was such a trooper.

We were all sad to say goodbye.
But we were SO excited for Disneyland.

We drove to Anaheim. It was a very boring drive. We finally arrived at our destination 6 hours later.
We stayed at the Grand Californian Hotel. This was by far one of the best hotels I have stayed at. It was warm, beautiful and very accommodating. The private entrances into the parks were amazing. We were able to enjoy both parks before they opened to the public.

We explored Downtown Disney. Max and daddy had a blast at RideMakerz.

We ended the day by eating pizza on the patio and strolling around enjoying a smoggy California sunset.
We called it a night a little early because we had a very early date with Disneyland!
