Thanksgiving

Worst Thanksgiving ever!
Before I go on to say why let me tell you this...

We went to Pendaries, which we do every year. It was lovely.

We watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. My sister in law and I made pumpkin pie.

The boys played football.

We went on a quick nature walk.

We stopped to take some Mommy and Max pictures.

Max's Mimi bought Max Jingle the dog and that made my sweet boy very happy.

 Might I add, this little interactive story book is awesome. I would highly recommend it.

My wonderful mother in law made a fantastic meal. She went all out with all the fixings that go with the Thanksgiving dinner.

So what made it the worst Thanksgiving ever???
Max is horribly sick. He woke up at 1:00 a.m. throwing up with a super high fever. Max didn't take one bite of his food yesterday, not even pumpkin pie!
 Phil is horribly sick. We had to leave Pendaries on Thanksgiving to get home. My boys needed to be snuggled up in the comfort of their own beds.
I had to take Max to Urgent Care last night. He was diagnosed with croup. He had to get a steroid shot. Poor babe! He slept with me last night and I laid awake making sure that his chest would rise and fall gently.

I can not thank my in laws enough for hosting such a wonderful day. It was a bummer that we had to leave so quickly. Oh well! There is always next year.
