Max Update

Today we went to the park.

 It was a gorgeous day. The sun was shining and the wind was blowing.

Max is 25 months old, plus a few days. I'm telling you, parenting gets better every day. Although the tantrums are becoming more frequent, so are his cute smiles and adorable sayings!

For example, today as I was upstairs cleaning the bathroom, Max shouted, MOM! WHAT YOU DOING? I shouted back, cleaning the potty. He then said, YA, MOMMA, PEE PEE IS GROSS! I just love how we can hold brief conversations. He will randomly come up to me, wrap his arms around me, and say, I wuv you mommy! He tells me things about his day right before I lay him down in his bed. He told me the other night, momma I had a good day with you. I wike mommy max days. If he only knew how much I love our days together.

He is really into climbing. He went through a climbing phase a while back, it is in full force now.

He makes EVERYTHING into a song. His song this morning was; change the diaper, change the diaper, it is stinky, it is stinky, ew gross (sung to the tune of Frere Jacques) He makes songs up to that particular tune all day.

He makes friends very easily. He had been talking about his new friend Parker at preschool, a lot. He would say things like, I like Parker Momma. Parker and I play. Parker is my new friend. So of course I had to ask his teacher who Parker was, I wanted to set up a play date for them. Well, to my surprise Parker is not a 2 year old boy. Parker is a stunningly beautiful almost 3 year old blond girl. On Friday when I went to pick him up from school, he was holding hands with Miss Parker. He didn't even acknowledge that I was there. He made sure to give her extra hugs before I even got mine. My little boy is growing up.

I just love him...
