Come Celebrate Under the Ocean Blue!

Max's Under the Ocean themed party turned out fabulous.

The cakes kept me up the night before until about midnight. I was so sleepy but I didn't want to go to bed until it was finished because I knew all the decorating I had to do the next morning.
Max loved the Octopus. He kept saying, it's cute momma!

The ocean was a little tough to put up. I love my high ceilings. In fact these ceilings were a selling point when we bought this home. Yesterday, I was cursing them. Thank goodness we had a ladder.
I placed ocean creatures randomly around the house.

I ordered 50 balloons. Let me just say that won't happen again. It was balloon overload!
Here are only half of the balloons today. Never again!

No party would be complete with out some treats:

I had a fishing game set up out back for the little ones. It was a hit.

I also had the sand box set up so the little ones could look for sea shells.

The tables were simple.

The birthday boy was so happy that his best friend, Kendra came!
 They are SO cute together!

Max had it all backwards, he wanted to open presents before cake. So we did. It was his party after all.
(today he ate breakfast and lunch in this car, I think he likes it)

He wouldn't get out of his car to say goodbye to the guests.

After the party came to an end, I was so happy we decided to make a playroom.
It was toy overload.

I think all in all it was perfect. Perfect friends and family, perfect weather, yummy cake and food, and a perfect two year old!

This is one very overly stimulated, needs to take a bath, needs to sleep two year old.
