Max has been cutting teeth.
We have been on a super funky sleep schedule which basically means I haven't been sleeping.
A trip to urgent care has been made.
I was unable to utilize my backyard for a week due to landscaping.
Phil's birthday is tomorrow.
Max's birthday is in 3 weeks.
A salt water fish tank has moved into my home.
A child is screaming for me from his crib because he no likes sleep.
Preschool has been a failure this week. (this is a another post in itself)
Okay, I am done complaining. However the above statements are why I have not been blogging. Can you blame me?? :)
Any who. We have been out and about. A lot. I have been trying to keep Max busy, so lots of play dates have been filling up our days.
We made a trip to the Botanical Gardens:
The botanical gardens has a kids area which is very Alice in Wonderlandish. Everything is over sized and absolutely darling.
The gardens also has a butterfly pavilion. Max was sort of creeped out by the butterflies flying all around.
I am pretty sure Max would take up residence here if they allowed it.
We went to Monkey Mania:
Max's girl pal came with us. This place was awesome for these little ones. We played for 3 hours!
Max is like his momma, he was loving the work out area.
We went to Hoots:
We had a play date with Max's old baby sitter and her children. Max would go through the obstacle courses and jump out and shout, I did it! I saved the world, I'm a SUPER HERO! Just darling.
Thanks daddy for going through the obstacles too. You truly are the best!
Love these boys with my everything!!!!
We went to Pendaries:
Phil played in a golf tournament with his dad.
Max and I hung out with Mimi and enjoyed the cool weather and wild life.
These hummingbirds were gorgeous.
Looking for chipmunks...
So cute!
While the boys played in the tournament, Mimi took us all to Victory Ranch.
What is Victory Ranch you ask? Oh you know, an Alpaca farm. We got to feed the Alpacas. Okay that is a lie. Max and his Aunt Sarah were completely freaked out by them so I guess Mimi and I fed the Alpacas. I think they are sort of cute.
Oh that fish tank I mentioned in the beginning, here it is:
Happy Birthday to my hubby. He wanted a salt water aquarium. Apparently it takes forever to set up the water and what not so we currently have no fish. Soon enough we will have lil nemo's. At least that is what Max is saying.
My backyard is now ready to be played in. We are officially done. The new grass looks great and it will be wonderful for Max's party.
And how can I forget this darling boy on his first day of preschool!
Okay I am done. No more pictures. No more places we visited. I think I may pour myself a glass of wine and relax in a bubble bath. After my week, I deserve it.
P.S. I have no idea how that weird text box got on this post. I can not delete it.
