out of the mouths of babes

I'm telling you, this boy has been hysterical with his words lately. Sometimes he says something and I just stare at him because I am in total disbelief. His speech blows me away. Max is obviously my first so I have nothing to compare to, but he talks a lot and very clearly.

Some of the fun things that have come out of his mouth these past few days include:

Mommy, I see guacamole. (he really saw a rolly polly)

Mommy, you need to brush sugar bugs. ( I think I had bad morning breath)

I go to time out. OKAY! (after he bit me, he sat down in time out and said sorry all on his own)

I jump to the clouds today. (trying to reach the sky)

I no like bath, I go to time out. 

No no coffee, its for grownups. 

I help you daddy (when he wants to go in the garage)


I going to work. I work at church.

I scared you. (if I accidentally scare him with a loud noise)

Mom leave you. (he says this when he poops)


I smell the flowers, mm smells so good!

Mommy is Crystal, daddy is Philip.


You're my baby. (I tell him that often and he now tells me that)

I be a scuba diver. I need my flippers on.


Oh! Man! (if something is really good or really bad)

I go to library and sing itsy spider. Okay! ( he likes story time at the library)

When I make my grocery list he makes one too, he says I need macaronis, chickens, pineapples, toys, ice cream. 

Mommy family, daddy family, Max is family. FAMILY!

I no reach Chipmunk. ( chipmunk was stuck in his crib)

I be a cowboy (riding a horse at gymboree)

Jesus loves me!

I go to church, no cry. I be a big boy.

Busted, mommy! (when he does something that he shouldn't do)

I go to Oklahoma. (I say how are you going to get there?) On a airplane. ( I then ask when are you going to go?) Yesterday.
 
My absolute favorite though is he will grab my face and push his cheek against mine and say, I love you!
