height: ? he is short :)
foods: anything. expect vegetables. I'm still being sneaky.
sleep: 2-3 hour nap during the day
11-12 hours at night.
teeth: almost all minus a couple of molars
fine motor skills: can hold a pen/pencil/crayon/etc. properly with his right hand
draws small circles, squiggles, and straight lines
gross motor skills: he is pretty timid. at gymboree he is fearless but usually doesn't climb or jump off of things. he also has a hard time walking down the stairs by himself, I blame his short legs. he can go up the stairs a little more gracefully.
reading: weird that I am adding this so early. max knows his name and is able to point it out if it is written somewhere. he knows the M and the A. he also knows the ABC's song and we are working on the letters. there is no pressure here, we just have fun. letter recognition and name recognition are some of the first steps in learning to read.
shapes: done and done. he has got these down.
colors: knows most, but mixes up blue and green quite often
numbers: can count to ten: 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,9,10 he ALWAYS skips 5. I will work on that.
talking/vocabulary: he speaks in full sentences and is very easy to understand. he asks questions as well as answers them. yesterday at church I asked him what songs they sang and he responded by saying Jesus loves me and Our God. I asked him what he played with and he told me, I play with penguins and soccer. last week he made me a wind chime at church and when he gave it to me he said, mommy I bought it for you :). I was pretty impressed. his memory is pretty sharp. I can ask what we did yesterday and he will tell me what we did, whether it be gymboree or a walk to the park.
obsessions: anything to do with fish or oceans or water. only God would bless me with a son who loves fish. if you don't know I am terrified of fish, don't ask long story :)
he can name sea creatures from lion fish to chambered nautilus. he knows the different sorts of coral as well. phil is trying to talk me into getting a fish for max. we will see.
he loves to be outside and anything to do with our garden. which I enjoy gardening with him.

when he wants me to pick him up, he says, Momma, let me hold you.
he prays with us and says AH Men at the end of our prayers
he tells me, momma, rock a baby, he is asking me to rock him like a baby.
he says every morning, mommy, want to play? and grabs my hand and leads me into his room.
he is actually playing WITH his friends, its not just parallel play anymore.
if I ask him, max how old are you going to be he tells me, 2 and holds up 5 fingers :)
if I ask him what does mommy say, he says, I love you.
if I ask him who max is he says, momma's baby
he will sometimes call me crystal and daddy philip, don't love this so I correct him
