I have come to the conclusion that my summer will not be all about reading my kindle, relaxing with my feet up, and having no set schedule. And I am okay with that.
You want to know what my days are filled up with instead?
Let's see.
We have been super busy painting.
This little artist just may be the next Picasso. Even if he is not, I will always think his paintings are more beautiful.
We have been indulging in some delicious fruits. These beauties are straight from our garden.
Max agrees that they taste better then store bought berries.
We have been in the kitchen. I love to cook. I love to provide healthy wholesome meals for my family.
This little man here is by far the best sous chef.
Okay, and I also love to provide the super yummy not so healthy treats. You can't celebrate summer without a smores.
We have had some friends over. I was able to watch some of Max's favorite kiddos for a couple of hours. Max LOVES Hannah! It was too sweet to see his excitement when he saw her. He had the best time playing with his favorite gal.
I might mention that she is AMAZING with him.
We bought Elefun.
Look at all of their faces, including the cats face.
I had to explain to them that this was just a game. Love it!
Daddy pulled out the guitar. Max had a mini lesson. He goes up to his daddy and says, I wanna play geetar. Okay.
This summer may not be books and beaches. But I would not trade the busy, non stop, constant go go go, for anything. This is my summer. And I love it!
