Milestones

The Friedman family is officially on summer break!
Our summer break has started with some pretty exciting milestones.

The first milestone is that I am no longer a full time working momma. Woot Woot!!! It was such a great feeling turning in my keys yesterday. I am thrilled to have more time with my son. I appreciate my husband so much for teaching summer school and tutoring to make the financial transition easier. His eagerness to provide for our family proves to me that I am one lucky lady.

Our second milestone is that Maxwell will have his first sleepover. Phil and I are going to have a full evening away with just the two of us. Max gets to have his very first sleep over at Mimi and Pop's house. I have to admit that I am a little sad. I have always kissed him goodnight and good morning. I know that he will be just fine and will have an absolute blast. I also know that Phil and I need this for our marriage.

Our third and final milestone is that Max went poo poo in the potty last night. He told me, poop mom. I said, okay lets sit on the potty. Sure enough about 5 minutes later he was finished. Once he saw what he left he was very freaked out. He kept saying, yuck mommy, clean it up! He also told me scared mommy! This morning all he seems to be talking about is how he is scared to poop. He farted this morning and told me poop mommy, scary. So although this pooping in the potty thing is a huge milestone he in now too scared to poop :(  Hmm...any advice fellow mothers???
