I was dragging my feet up the stairs dreading all the school work I had to do.
As I pulled out my HUGE pile of grading amidst all the other school paperwork I had to do, I noticed a random piece of paper.
A note.
It made me smile.
This particular student is one that often makes me want to pull my hair out. But moments like these put it all into perspective. Even though teaching is tough, this is what makes it all worth it. Not the paycheck, not the summer offs, its the idea of changing a little life.
