17 Months!

Really?!? I had to double check that. Max is really 17 months old.  Which means next month he will be a year and a half, which means he is almost two...WHAT?!?! CRAZY!!!
Okay,  now that I am over the shock of my little boy not being so little any more, let me fill you in on this little tot.

Sleeping:
He naps once a day for about 2 hours. He sleeps from about 6:30-7 to about 6:00. He has had a few rough nights due to a stuffy nose. Poor monkey. He just comes in bed with me and sleeps in my arms, and I don't mind it one bit.

Teeth:
I think about 10??? I will have to check.

Eating:
Anything. His faves are pizza (homemade healthy pizza I make), kiwi, mango, cereal, cookies, cheese crackers, veggie stix and bagels.

New Skills/Interests:
Still using the potty but still in diapers and pull ups sometimes
Running
Jumping
Walking on tip toes
Climbing
Singing, my absolute favorite thing he does is sing Bob the Builder, it goes something like, Bob the ba ba :)
Coloring. HE.LOVES.TO.COLOR!!!!
Play Doh, I think daddy likes playing with it more then Max
Cooking (making a mess with pans, measuring cups, and water)
He will put his hands together if you say, let's pray
Talking in short sentences
Learning to brush his own teeth, not doing too bad
Likes to pretend play with buzz, woody, and elmo
Obsessed with stickers, he likes to put them all over himself head to toe
He will walk up to you and say, kees, and then you get a slobbery kiss, which I might add are the best!!!

Talking:
What is he not saying?? I think he has most words. He can communicate very well with what he wants. He will tell you snack, bites, nap, diaper, potty, play, snuggle (which is SOOOOO sweet when he wants to crawl up in your arms and snuggle), bath, outside, etc.
He is doing awesome with please and thank you, but I think he could do a little better :)

Tantrums:
He throws fits. What toddler doesn't? But daddy gives in. He will admit he is the push over parent, so we definitely need to see eye to eye on this so we are consistent in our discipline. I guess I should say I give in at times as well. Sometimes it is so much easier. I will work on that.

I really feel like I am forgetting a lot. I will add more as it comes to me. I have been blessed with 3 snow days and have been able to have Max and Mommy time which has been amazing. Last week I left early one day because I was feeling overwhelmed with work and needed more mom and son time. I prayed for more time with my sweet boy and God more then answered my prayers. God is GOOD!

My BIG 17 month old boy!
He is simply amazing.
