a few of my favorite things

*Max loves books. He will 'read' to himself and anyone who will listen. His voice will change from speaking soft to really loud, as if the part of the book he is reading is exciting. I think he picks that up from Phil and I. Either way, this toddler holding a book is my favorite!

*It has been real cold. I mean REAL cold! 18 degrees cold. But this weekend the sun decided to grace us with a little bit of warmth and we ran with it. We zipped up our jackets, we grabbed our snacks, we found the soccer ball and headed to the park.

*A new favorite of mine is that I can communicate with my son. He tells me when he needs or wants something, in this case he needed a snacka.
*He also told me all done and go. Sometimes it hurts to see him so independent!

*My favorite is how this boy will go until he is running on absolutely nothing.

GOING!
 GOING!
 GONE!

*He can make a mess like nobodies business. He can tear apart a room in less then 60 seconds. That is not my favorite. What my favorite is, is how he helps me clean up. He tells me back mom mom, when he puts things away.
He has also learned how to remove his clothing. Hence the pants lying on the floor. Lord, help us!

*Another favorite of mine is the book Crazy Love, by Francis Chan. This book has put a lot of things into perspective for me. This book is literally turning my world upside down. The author is so truthful and so raw that it makes me question the way I have been living. Remember when I said I feel the Lord has something big for me. I think I may know what it is. So sorry to leave you hanging. I am going to wait and be still and listen to His voice before I proclaim His plan for me. And no I am not pregnant ;)
This book is AHH-MAZING!

*I will leave you with my most favorite...
My sweet son. I am more then blessed that he is mine. I am in awe with how much love my heart holds for this being. But the more awe inspiring thing is, as much as I love Maxwell, God loves him even more. Just crazy to think about.
