Christmas 2010

Before I begin this post with a bazillion pictures, can I just say how Christmas is almost like a wedding. You take a lot of time to prepare, you make sure all the food and gifts are perfect, and you make sure all the decorations are perfectly placed. The day arrives and it flies faster then the speed of light and then its over. But like many weddings, our Christmas was beautiful and perfect.

We usually go to Christmas Eve service at out church, but our little guy has had a sore throat and a slight cough so I did not want to push him. Instead we stayed home and nursed his cold.
Christmas morning did not start super early, my little guy snuggled with mom mom until 7:00. We all went downstairs, set up the video camera, and began to tear open the gifts. Well Max actually opened ALL the gifts, mom mom and dada's included.
Christmas was so fun this year because seeing this boys face when he opened all his presents was priceless.

and when the presents were all torn open this sweet boy asked for more!

Of course after opening all those toys we had to play with them.

All morning I was preparing for Christmas dinner, which I host each year. I love to bake and this year I think my apple pie was pretty darn yummy!

My handsome fellow was in a fabulous mood after an indulgent 2 hour nap. He was ready for all our guests and a delicious meal.
After all the food was devoured and the wine was sipped, it was just Phil, Max, and I. We played together as a family. We shared kisses, giggles, and snuggles.

Pretty perfect if I do say so myself!
