So Very Thankful For...

My relationship with the Lord. My husband. My son. My family. My friends. My health. My home. My happiness.

We spent Thanksgiving with Phil's parents in Pendaries. It was a gorgeous backdrop to the holiday festivities.

It was very mellow which I am super thankful for. We ate lots, played lots, snuggled lots, and chatted lots. Doesn't get much better then that. I was a little sad to not be spending it with my mother and sister and her family. I am sure I will see them soon, as my sister will be welcoming a precious baby girl come March.

Thanksgiving morning started much earlier then I liked, 5:30 a.m. Maxwell was up and ready for the day. Phil and I stumbled out of bed and straight to the coffee pot all the while Max was asking for his cup.
(watching the parade with mom mom)

We of course watched the Thanksgiving day parade. Maxwell shouted at the t.v. every time he saw a balloon. And once he saw Bob Bob (Sponge Bob) this boy was excited. How does he even know who Sponge Bob is!?!?! He doesn't watch it...unless daddy isn't telling me something.
While my mother in law cooked and after I made the pumpkin pie...which I will go into greater detail later, the boys played and the camera clicked.
(He was OBSESSED with this candle decor!)

And then we ate!

Of course no Thanksgiving would be complete without the grand ol' turkey...
...and pumpkin pie. Which I might add was amazing. So amazing that my son pretty much just ate pumpkin pie for dinner. Bad mothering maybe, but I can't blame him. It was that good!
Maxwell had a FANTASTIC time making loops around the home as we all sipped our wine and chatted about this and that. This boy went 100 miles an hour and then he CRASHED!

It was a perfect day. The parade was watched. Football was played. Chubby cheeks were kissed. Food was consumed...perhaps too much. Thanks were given. Sweet dreams were dreamt.

Okay, sorry about the name and design change...again! I am done, I promise.
Hope you like it ;)
