Maxwell is 13 months old.
I asked myself today...
How did he go from this...

to this????
Regardless of how this happened my little boy is growing up!
This little tike is on the move and we have almost mastered walking. And here I thought crawling was exhausting!!!

I'm pretty sure my favorite part of this new little walker is that his cute little butt always sticks out and his arms are out in zombie position.
Maxwell is doing really well with his diet. He LOVES Thai food, Indian food, broccoli (no really he loves it). The one thing this boy could do without is milk. Milk has caused me more headaches and worry this past month. I have finally gotten him to drink a soy-milk blend. He needs the calories and the fat from the milk or otherwise I would care less.
Sleeping has been a non issue. Now that I say this I am sure we will have some problems:) He has been napping like a champ. I think that he is in the process of merging his 2 naps into 1. He sleeps like an angel at night and lately he has been waking up around 6:40.
This boy can talk, and now even strangers can understand him. His vocabulary includes: cat, hot, duck, cup, ple (please), mom- mom (he doesn't call me momma, mom, mommy just mom-mom and I love that!), pop (grandpa), all done, all gone, and our newest addition is poop...yes he tells me when he poops.
He really enjoys playing. His daddy is teaching him how to play golf and it sure is adorable! I would rather the golf lessons be taken outside but either way its super cute.

Maxwell has become quite the little helper. He enjoys doing laundry with his mom-mom

The cool fall Albuquerque mornings really allow our family to enjoy hitting the pavement. We of course had to get all bundled up and any excuse to put this boy in a sweatshirt is okay with me. I just love how handsome Max looks in them.

This weekend was Balloon Fiesta. The location of our house and the balcony attached to our master suite makes this possible...

Max loved the loons (balloons)!

Oh! and the best part of having this 13 month old would be this....

and this, I just love his sweet chubby cheeks!

Oh! and this...Maxwell you are so lucky to have a daddy that is so great. You just love him so!
My ABSOLUTE favorite pics of the weekend are these...

Max was reaching for his daddy! The moment was beautiful and I was so glad that my camera was ready!
