...that is the word that I am going to use to describe my weekend. It all started on Friday around 4:00. I had absolutely NO WORK to bring home. Since school has begun I have brought work home every night! I was pretty excited not to have to plan, grade, or think about 1st grade.
This weekend all I did was drink in my family and it was beautiful.

MOMMY HEAVEN!
There is nothing more beautiful then your family that you created. I am more then blessed to call them mine! Thank you Lord!

We bought fresh organic blueberries. My ABSOLUTE favorite fruit. Max was able to indulge in blueberry bliss for the first time and he was happy.

Blueberries mixed with a PB&J...yummy!

We pulled out the bubbles today and my angel boy had a grand time trying to catch them. When he finally caught one he was so proud of himself he couldn't contain all the excitement in his little body.

Philip had a darling wooden rocking horse when he was a toddler. Mimi gave it to Max yesterday. I love seeing Max rock on it, I can only imagine that his daddy looked just as cute as Max does when playing on it.

Maxwell's new favorite word is cup. I tried to get it on video this weekend and it was a success. Of course I failed the first time so you all get to enjoy 2 videos of my adorable little man :)

Guess what I saw today that made me smile from ear to ear?

Do you see those glorious plum colored leaves???? You know what that means...FALL is around the corner!
I love fall. It is by far my favorite season. My favorite color is orange and really that is the color of fall, right?!?!? I love pumpkins, fuzzy sweaters, cool mornings, warm afternoons, apple cider, Thanksgiving, and all the build up to Christmas. I must admit, I did a super fun fall craft, poem, art lesson in my class on Friday and I had so much fun and so did those adorable first graders.

Tomorrow is Monday and I am always sad to say goodbye to the weekend. I love the freedom of no schedule, no stress, extra snuggle time with my boys, church, late nights, I could go on forever, but I won't. The good news is that the weekend is always waiting for me on Friday afternoon. Really without the week kicking our butts we wouldn't enjoy the weekend. SO here is to a great week that will only lead us to yet another FANTASTICAL weekend.
