GYMBOREE FUN!
This Saturday we went to Gymboree, and Max who is now in the level 3 class had SO much fun. I decided to shoot some video (on my iPhone) and while I was doing so, Max decided to do one of the most precious things I have seen him do. He handed a toy to a little girl who was looking for one to play with. I was a very proud mother and I smiled big when all the other mommy's smiled and said How Sweet. I'm so lucky to be your mom, Good Job Max!!!!And this video doesn't really need an explanation. He is such a boy...he loves to climb over, through, and under ANYTHING.

Walking...well almost!

My sweet boy is so close to taking his first step. I am so excited for him to do it. I am being VERY patient and waiting for his little legs to become more confident. But also I know that once he starts walking he will be a little toddler not the newborn I brought home almost 12 months ago. So you know what Max? Take your time little monkey!

1 Year
I took Maxwell's 1st year pictures. Yes, I know Max will not be 1 for another 11 days but I am so busy this was the only time that worked with my schedule. This upcoming weekend I have a friend coming into town and a bridal shower to attend, and the weekend after that is his birthday. I only want to focus on his party and nothing else that weekend:)
So without further ado....

So much fun to be 1!
well almost :)

Yummy!

I was nominated for a blogging award. I was rather shocked to see this because really I thought that no one really read this blog. This blog started because I wanted family both near and far be able to watch Max grow and develop, as well as a keepsake for all our memories as a family.
SO when I saw that I was nominated it made me smile.

There are some rules that I have to follow.
Rule #1: Thank the person that nominated you.
Thank you Ali (babyfeetnbabysteps.blogspot.com) for nominating me.
Ruke # 2: Write 7 things about yourself.
a. I really need to be in control of every situation, so you can imagine that pregnancy and labor & delivery were rather difficult for me:)
b. I enjoy running long distances. Like really long distances. Like 26 miles long.
c. I LOVE being a mother. I thank God every moment that I can for giving Maxwell to me. I love being a mom so much that I can not wait to have more...but I will.
d. I love Jesus. My faith is important to me and the way I live my life.
e. I am a morning person. I am at my best in the early hours of the day. So having a 1 year old (almost) be awake at 6:00 a.m. doesn't bother me in the least.
f. I am a SUPER compassionate person. My heart breaks for those that are less fortunate then me, for those helpless babes that are abused and neglected, and for the souls that are overtaken by drugs and alcohol. I pray that one day God will use me to help those that need it most.
g. Each day I greet every student that enters my class with a good morning and a hug...sometimes that is the only hug they get that day.
Rule #3: Pass on the award.
