Friedman Family: 11 Months!

Maxwell is 11 months old!

Last night I didn't want to put him to bed fearing that he would grow to be a bigger boy then he was that day. My fears became reality this morning when I picked him up and he felt heavier, looked longer, and seemed so grown up!

Time will not stop just because I want it to. I am not okay with this, but I guess I will have to accept it.

You may wonder what this precious boy is up to?!?!? I have to say that I am AMAZED with how much this little guy soaks in and learns each day.

* He dances on cue
* He can stand all by himself
* Speedy crawler
* Cruises along anything
* He can throw
* He likes to take things out of boxes, bags, purses, etc.
* He likes to put things back in boxes, bags, purses, etc.
* He can pull his shirt off
* Points at anything and everything
* Climbs up and down the stairs like a pro
* He can do some sign language...he has the sign for 'more' down
* He puts his toys and blocks up to his ear like he is talking on the phone
* If you tell him 'lovey, lovey' he will find his blankie and lay his head down
* If you tell him 'aww' he will tilt his head acting cute
*If you tell him 'so excited' he will throw his arms out and squeeze his fist as if he was really excited
* If you tell him 'yay Max' he will put his arms in the air like he is cheering (my favorite)
* He shares his food
* He eats just about anything...favorites include: cheese, bread, crackers, plums, mac and cheese, spaghetti, green chili sauce, tortillas, pitas and hummus, Cheerios and bananas, green beans, sweet potatoes (the way his Mimi makes them), and anything sweet...he gets that from his mommy :)
* He can say cat, hot (I always point to my coffee and say hot), mom, mama, dad, daddy, oh jeez and baba. He can also sing lalalala!
* Loves bath time
*Loves books and being read to
* Fascinated with balloons
* He is a great sleeper at night and naps have been a little more difficult lately
* He loves his teeth to be brushed
* He has loads of hair and it is super curly...I LOVE IT!
*Daddy taught him how to stick his tongue out..thanks daddy :)

This by far has been my favorite age. Please don't get me wrong I love each day and moment with him but his personality is really showing and he is just so much fun! I am proud of the little guy he is becoming and even though next month he will be the BIG 1, he will always be my precious baby.
