As I was driving home Friday night Max was crying in his car seat...not a cry that I hear very often. The cry was 'mommy I don't feel good, hold me'! So I pulled over on the side of the road and went to comfort my baby. He then proceeded to throw up on me. I just held him close, yes with throw up all over us, and comforted my boy because that is what he needed. After this incident he seemed just fine. So mommy wasn't too worried.
Saturday morning he was in a fun playful mood. I took him to Gymboree and this is when I noticed something was wrong. Max is usually all over the place at Gymboree and I have to chase him everywhere. That was not the case on Saturday. He wanted mommy to hold him! When we got home I took his temp and sure enough it was 99.9.
Needless to say the last 24 hours have been filled with very interrupted sleep, tears, and lots of mommy snuggles. My sweet boy wants mommy to hold him all the time, even while sleeping.
A mommy has to do what a mommy has to do!
