Here it is!

I told you that I would post a picture of Max's first tooth as soon as I got a decent picture.

Max has been up to quite a bit lately. I should actually say he has been into quite a bit lately!

He tries to climb the stairs. Please don't think that I am a bad mother, I usually have a baby gate up.
He also likes to try to open the cabinets...little does he know that they are baby proofed. I do have a drawer in the kitchen for him, it is filled with plastic bowls, wooden spoons and some of his toys. However, he would rather play with mommy's things.
Some of mommy's things that he loves to get into are my shoes. He is lucky he is cute!
He also LOVES to play with the DVDs.


Might I add, I love the new sound he is making!

This weekend was very busy for the little man. His aunt Sarah graduated from high school and her graduation party was Saturday night. He was very overwhelmed with meeting the extended family. He cried a little and all he wanted was his mommy and his lovey. I have to admit my arm is a little sore from holding him ALL night :)
We ended up going to my in laws after the party. While Sarah opened her presents Max warmed up to the family and showed off just how cute and lovable he is. He stayed up way past his bed time. I was hoping that he would maybe sleep in an hour or two longer but that my friends did not happen! He did take a three hour morning nap and I was able to have some me time.
Unfortunately I did not bring my camera, SO unlike me! BUT I did get a picture of Max and Michelle (our cousin). I think that Max had a good time with her.

I am so excited to say that I only have 5 more days of work until summer break, 2 of which are half days. YAHOO!!!! I don't think that I have ever been this excited for summer before! I am looking forward to spending it with my beautiful family that the Lord has blessed me with...and the cruise in three weeks :)
