I love my bedtime routine with Maxwell. It is the part of my day that I enjoy the most. It is just Max and I. We are in his dimly lit nursery. In the background all we hear is soft lullabies whispering to us 'good night'.
This is the time when I whisper my prayer to the Lord, for Max. I pray for Max to have a good nights sleep, I pray that he is watched over, I pray that he has the sweetest dreams a little boy can have. I also pray that one day he grows up to love the Lord.
This is also the time when I dance and sway to the lullabies with Maxwell. His eyes slowly open and close to each sway of my hip.

I know when it is time to place him in his crib, he takes a deep sigh and lets out a long moan. A moan of pure relaxation. As I lay him in his crib he opens his little eyes, his lips flash a sleepy smile, his arms fall to the side...and he is fast asleep.
I say one last Good Night Sweet Baby, and I slowly tip toe out of his nursery. When I leave his nursery I am relaxed and rejuvenated. I feel relaxed and I let my lips flash a sleepy smile. It truly is a perfect way to end any day!
