For Max's Baby Book:
Dear Maxwell,
Let me start this letter by saying how much you mean to me. I love you more then you will ever know. I thank you for the joy you have brought to my life. I thank you for making every moment of every day extraordinary. My heart beats for you and every breath I take is for you. You are my world, and I can’t wait for each new day to spend with you.
I watch you take the world in and I am amazed on how much you are learning. Your eyes are always looking and observing the world around you. Your hands are always touching and feeling. Your mouth is always tasting and making the sweetest sounds I have ever heard. It is astonishing to see you so small and yet you have a huge personality. I hope that you never lose your self in this big world.
My hopes and dreams for you are endless. My hope for you would be to grow up a respectful man that loves God with all your heart! I hope that you turn to God for all your needs, wants, and questions. I know that if you align your path with the Lord you will go farther then you can ever imagine. My dream for you is to one-day start a family of your own. Then you will know and understand the love I feel for you. I also hope that your dreams and hopes are endless. Max, never give up on your hopes and dreams. Remember you can do anything through Christ who strengthens you.
I love having you here in my arms. I love how you greet me each morning with a sweet smile. I love the time we spend when I am feeding you. I love how your eyes are looking into mine and your tiny hands are playing with my hair. Right now you are so small and I know that one day you will be too big to hold. I will savor each moment of you in my arms. I will delight in all those sweet smiles and coos. And as you grow into a young boy and then into an adult I will then take pleasure in your fascinating changes.
When I was pregnant with you I couldn’t wait to meet you. I am over the moon excited that you are here, in my arms. However, I miss feeling your little movements inside. I miss feeling your sweet hiccups and watching my stomach jump! During those 9 months we were so close. My body was nourishing you and developing you into an amazing little boy. My dream is that outside of the womb we remain that close forever and always. My hope is that I can encourage you and give you all that you need to grow into the man that you will become.
I love you to the moon and back…twice!
With all my Love,
Your very Blessed Mommy
