Max is 11 weeks old and more amazing then ever. He has developed a little personality that resembles both mom and dad. He is very laid back and loves music, just like daddy. He also knows what he wants and he wants it fast, just like mommy. He is still on his schedule eating 6 times a day (about every 3 hours during the day and once at night). He is not sleeping through the night yet, but that is okay because I love to spend that time bonding with him. He has grown so much and I am realizing this because he out grows his clothing daily! He holds conversations with you (by cooing, laughing, and squealing), he laughs all the time, he is a very happy little boy.
We recently celebrated his first Halloween. He was a pea in a pod! We also celebrated a 2 month birthday!
This past week I really struggled with having to go back to work (in Jan.). I feel like I am going to miss him way too much and miss out on his daily routine. After a bunch of prayer, I realized that I was called to be a teacher and a mommy. I have the absolute best sitter in the world. She is only watching him, so he will get that one on one attention that he has now. She loves him and I know that he will be happy there.
Phil and I are so excited for Thanksgiving and Christmas this year! We feel like the holidays seem more special because we have a beautiful son to celebrate with. We are extremely thankful for our family and excited for what each day has in store.
